Columbus – The Ohio Foundation for Music Education announced today that Bill White, CEO of Offenberger & White, Inc., Marietta, Ohio, and a principal in the OffWhite/Salter strategic alliance, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Foundation for a term of two years.
Also named to the Board are: William Anderson, William P. Blair III, Gene D’Angelo, John A. Haas, Gary Miller, and Elaine Ostrander.
White brings a wealth of leadership and experience to the Foundation whose mission is to fund and support projects and activities in the field of music and music education. Active as a community leader in Marietta and a supporter of community activities White has made a commitment of his time, expertise, and resources to support the mission of the Ohio Foundation for Music Education.
Mark Hensler, President of OMEA, the professional music educators’ association said, “I feel very confident that Bill White will serve the Foundation to ensure music education, the profession, and mission are upheld in communities around the state.”
As the CEO of Offenberger and White, Inc. White has led the charge to serve his company’s clients worldwide through the highest standards of professional excellence.
White's role as a Trustee is consistent with the objectives of his strategic alliance with Ron Salter through OffWhite/Salter. "Our support for the arts is a prerequisite to our overall public affairs and community development effort," White said.
"On the other side of the Ohio River, Ron Salter and the staff of Salter & Associates are longtime supporters of the arts as well, including Artsbridge, the Parkersburg Art Center, the West Virginia Symphony and more.
"Together, as we combine our resources and apply our efforts to client services, we expect to continue a robust involvement with creative and performing arts and arts in education in both Ohio and West Virginia."
