OffWhite Salter is now face-to-face with clients across town or around the world with new video conferencing. The firm is providing video cameras to all clients free of charge as part of its new client services program launched with the roll-out of OffWhite Salter, LLC in October, 2008.
According to CEO Bill White, the investment in video conferencing will improve communications between the company's Marietta, Ohio and Vienna, West Virginia offices, and among the company's clients located throughout the USA and abroad.
"We've used video conferencing with our clients in Asia for some time", said White. "As bandwidth has expanded and components have become more affordable, we have committed to placing this capability on the desktop of every client we have, regardless of how close or far they may be. Despite the proliferation of email and phone calls, we still believe that all business is personal, and video conferencing is the way to improve even the most routine discussions."
Company president Ron Salter agreed. "We will continue to route files by email or place large files into our shared FTP servers to our clients can grab them by bypassing email altogether", he said. "But the idea of videoconferencing to share ideas and brainstorm with our clients puts us one step closer to the type of relationship we want to maintain."
Although minimum bandwidth and computer capability is required, OffWhite Salter provides the cameras, software and training at no charge.
